The sounds and words of 1983 return to Rimini for one night....the music of a summer that never ended.  In that year Johnson "with his Righeira" released 'Vamos a la playa', a song which was to become among the most famous of all Italian music.
In those years Rimini was the capital of the Italian summer holidays, also thanks to evenings at Bandiera Gialla from where the homonymous TV program was broadcast from the hills of Covignano.

On Thursday 20 July, a solidarity football match for Romagna at Romeo Neri Stadium in Rimini will be played and broadcast live on Italia 1 TV channel, in support of the Mediafriends campaign to help the most fragile people severely affected by the floods last May.
Competing for charity will be the National Singer Team, led by Enrico Ruggeri, and the Golden Team for Romagna, a selection of entertainment and sports personalities, coached by Arrigo Sacchi with the technical support of Ciccio Graziani.
Performers include vice president Paolo Vallesi and Bugo, bomber Moreno, who recently hit 136 goals, Ubaldo Pantani, LDA, Cricca, Leo Gassman, Il Tre, Ludwig, Il Volo and the comedian Max Angioni.

Luciano Ligabue will return to the live scene with a tour that start on 9 October from the Verona Arena and then continue on the stages of all the major Italian cities, including Rimini Stadium.
"DEDICATO A NOI" (Warner Music Italy) is the title of Luciano Ligabue's new album, which will be released in September, three years after his last record, and has been anticipated on the radio by the song "RIDERAI," written by the artist and produced by Luciano himself together with Fabrizio Barbacci.

A pink and starry sky will be the protagonist of the traditional fireworks show over the sea, which will simultaneously colour the sky of entire coast of Romagna for more than 110 km of beaches on the night of 7 July, and greet the Pink Night, the New Year's Eve of Summer on the Adriatic Riviera.
In Rimini the show will take place at the free beach in Piazzale Boscovich, in Viserba at bath 29, in Rimini Sud at the free beach between bath 98 and 99 (Bellariva/Marebello area).

On the occasion of the Pink Night, on Saturday 8 July at 10:30 a.m., the mountain also lands in the historic center of Rimini, which will be entertained by the notes of the Social Band of Cavalese. The initiative comes from the Cavalese - Viserba di Rimini partnership, which already saw the participation of the Viserba Tourist Committee last January, for the Marcialonga in Val di Fiemme.
Currently, the Band consists of about 40 musicians and is conducted by M° Fabio Turra. Its musical repertory ranges from soundtracks to original band music, from classical transcriptions to traditional marches.
For the Pink Night, the Cavalese Social Band will perform the traditional marches of the mountain border territory.

A pictured narrative in an unique setting: 'Everyone at the Sea (1843-2023). 180 years on vacation in Rimini' is the title of the photo exhibition at the seashore.
Along 2.5 km of beach, from bagno 47 to bagno 100, it is possible to 'revisit' the first 180 years since the foundation of the first bathing establishment, from its beginnings in the 19th-century to the present. One hundred images on boards, 200 pictures and more than 20 posters: from the Kursaal to Rose Island, from the palata (harbour) to the famous motorcyclist Renzo Pasolini, from the flower parade to the dunes of today's waterfront, from the shacks of the origins to the chiringuitos.

Rimini's Galli Theater hosts an event of the 53rd edition of Santarcangelo Festival, scheduled from the 7th to the 16th of July 2023: a surprising platform dedicated to the most innovative contemporary creation, for a program that involves theater, dance and music.
The choreographer Ligia Lewis constructs the poetics of rejection at the margins of representation intertwining historical, anecdotal, political and mythical narratives - ranging from Enlightenment thinker John Locke to the role of Maria Olofa (Wolofa) in the Santo Domingo slave revolt of 1521, from Cuban artist and revolutionary José Aponte to Lewis's great-grandmother, a leading figure in the Resistance.
"A Plot/A Scandal" is a scene in the making in which agitation over what does not adapt can find its place.
The performance features sensitive content: strobe lights, nude scenes.
