For all those who want to keep fit in company and in the little free time at disposal, from June 12nd until late summer, the appointment is every Tuesday and Friday morning and Wednesday evening to practice 50/55 minutes of physical activity of moderate intensity, suitable for everyone, at any age. The activities will be guided by the Brazilian personal trainer Elen Souza, in Italy for about one month, and graduated in physical education at the University of Unisuam, Rio de Janeiro. She is the founder of "Rio Exercicios", an open-air gym of functional activity on the beach of Rio de Janeiro, which has been operating for 10 years.
The free walk will be repeated every Tuesday morning from 7am to 8am (meeting at 6.45am), on Wednesday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm (meeting at 7.15 pm), and on Friday morning from 7am to 8am (meeting at 6.45am). These exercises reduce tension during the day and increase the disposition to all daily activities: this is a way to experience the beach as an open-air gym to stay healthy. After some warm-up exercises, the walk will start: there will be a few stops for free-body activities. The return is at 8am, always at "La Cantera".
For the participants of the walk there will be the possibility to have a healthy breakfast at a discounted price at the bar of the sports center. It will also be possible to use the showers for free.
On Wednesday the evening walk will take place on the sidewalk of the Lungomare, so you can also bring your 4-legged friends with you.
