La settima arte - Cinema e Industria (7th Art - Cinema and Industry)

From Fellini to Lynch a new film festival in Rimini

"7th Art - Cinema and Industry" is an international project, which aims to celebrate and promote the film industry.
The festival consists of three days of events dedicated to cinema in the most evocative places in Rimini and of the exhibition "David Lynch. Dreams. A Tribute To Fellini”.
The Settima Arte, included in the calendar of events of "Towards 2020: 100 years of Fellini", presents exhibitions, screenings, conferences, masterclasses, readings in close relationship with the territory.
The exhibition "DAVID LYNCH. Dreams. A Tribute To Fellini", conceived and created by the Fellini Foundation in Sion, is a unique exhibition that the great filmmaker David Lynch has created to honor Federico Fellini inspired by the last scene of the film "8 ½". The film festival will also be a moment of recognition, with the awarding of the Confindustria Romagna prize "Cinema and Industry". Pupi Avati will preside the jury. The ceremony will be presented by the journalist and presenter of 'Uno Mattina' Franco Di Mare, while the famouus Italian actress Laura Morante will celebrate the world of cinema with a performance on stage at Galli Theatre.
The most evocative places of historical and contemporary Rimini will host the events: Sismondo Castle, Galli Theater, Rimini Film Archive, Teatro degli Atti, Gambalunga Library, Rimini Campus, Fulgor Cinema, Settebello Cinema, Multiplex Le Befane-Giometti Cinema, Tiberio Cinema, First Floor Gallery, Augeo Art Space, FormaMi.

The event is promoted by Confindustria Romagna, Khairos Srl in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini and sponsored by the Emilia Romagna Region, the Province of Rimini, the Chamber of Commerce of Romagna Forlì-Cesena Rimini, ANICA (National Association of Multimedia Audiovisual Film Industries) and Rai Emilia Romagna.
