Vintage cars, coming from all over the world, will challenge on a route of 1000 km with departure and arrival in Mantua. The Gran Premio Nuvolari is one of the most important race in the world for number of crews and kilometers of the route and for its technical difficulty.
The 2017 edition is reserved to vintage cars registered from 1919 to 1972 and proposes a new route with the first stage from Mantua, continuing through the Po Valley and the Apennines up to the Adriatic Riviera; the second stage departs from Rimini, passes through the beauties of Tuscany, Umbria and Marche with return to Rimini; the third stage, from the Adriatic Sea runs through the cities of Emilia Romagna, with arrival in Mantua, birthplace of Tazio Nuvolari.
In Rimini the arrival is scheduled in the evening of Friday 15th September with departure the next day, Saturday 16th September from piazzale Fellini at 7 am, for the second and the most intense stage of the Grand Premio Nuvolari. After the departure from Rimini on Saturday, there will be a stop at the Marco Simoncelli Circuit in Misano Adriatico, where the cars will challenge in timed competitions. The route continues in Romagna, Tuscany and Marche and finish in Rimini at 6.30 pm in the Tre Martiri square, in Rimini historic centre. Afterwards the cars will move into the Fellini square, where they will be on display. The exclusive gala evening in memory of Tazio Nuvolari will take place in the splendid setting of the Grand Hotel in Rimini.
On Sunday, 17th September, the cars will depart at 7am for the third and final stage with arrival in Mantua in the afternoon.
