Saturday 6th September 2014 is the kick off of the project Rimini Motor Soul, a series of initiatives in Rimini on the occasion of the motorcycles championship, Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera di Rimini, 12th to 14th September 2014. The initiative involves the city of Rimini as a promoter of the excellence engineering that the entire region can boast in the field of motors and it is organized in collaboration with Aldo Drudi and his collaborators.

As a matter of fact along the Via Emilia there are important circuits such as Monza, Misano and Imola, and in Romagna great champions were born or grown up, from Renzo Pasolini to Valentino Rossi, Marco Simoncelli, Mattia Pasini to the last emerging talent, Enea Bastianini. To be mentioned there are also the leading figures in the field of design such as Massimo Tamburini or Aldo Drudi, one of the most internationally renowned designer from Romagna especially in the world of motors. Owing to his collaboration this ambitious project has come to light and will develop in the coming years.

Everything started with the project D-Perf Air Garage, now taking place under the roof of the “Ala Moderna” in the City Museum which has been transformed into a real "mechanic workshop" where Aldo Drudi is working to give a soul to a motorbike (Honda VFR 1200) which is a technical platform for the implementation of a prototype that will be presented in the first months of 2015. In association with this project Mr Drudi and Rimini Municipality have started a collaboration for the realization of two great exhibitions dedicated to the motorbikes: "Motorcycle World”, with the most famous Factory bikes, racing suits and over sixty helmets used by the most famous bikers in MotoGP, and "Racing shot", an exhibition of photos taken during MotoGP races by the most important photographers in the world selected by Gigi Soldano.

The program also includes a screening of a documentary "Morbidelli storie di uomini e di moto veloci”, a film by the journalist Jeffrey Zani from San Marino dedicated to Morbidelli, the famous motorcycle factory, which won 4 world titles in the seventies. Pier Paolo Bianchi, one of the winners, in 1976 and 1977 in class 125, will attend the screening.

Rimini Motor Soul - The Motorcycle World
Motorcycles, suits and helmets used by the MotoGP champions 
An exhibition not to be missed for all the fans of MotoGP. In Rimini town centre seven Factory bikes used in the MotoGP are on display for one week: the Repsol Honda of the world champion Marc Marques, Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha, the Ducati of Carl Cruchlow, the Honda LCR used by Stefan Bradl, the Honda Go & Fun Gresini of Alvaro Bautista and Scott Redding and finally the Ducati Pramac driven by Iannone. Together with the motorcycles the suits worn by pilots are on display .
Heart of the exhibition are, however, more than sixty helmets used by the great champions of the MotoGP from '80ies to nowadays, which have become items of collection owing to the talent and creativity of Aldo Drudi. Among them the most famous helmets worn by Valentino Rossi, with the 'big face' of the pilot from Tavullia, amulet of one of his victories at Mugello.

Rimini Motor Soul - Racing Shot 
International photo exhibition of the best shots in the MotoGP Championship
In the international photographic exhibition there are 28 shots taken by the best photographers credited to the press room of MotoGP World Championship. They are from Italy, Spain, France, Australia, Japan and America, and they present pictures of the various circuits in the world.
The exhibition is coordinated by Gigi Soldano, an internationally known photographer, in collaboration with Aldo Drudi. The project will be extended next year with the creation of an international award dedicated to the best photos. The exhibition is realized in collaboration with Nikon.
