The works by Luigi Pasquini painter, teacher and xilographer from Rimini are on display. He had been the voice of art in Rimini for almost sixty years. He was the vedutist who stopped with his watercolor painting the picturesque places of the historic city and the marina. Luigi Pasquini returns in a recognizable and immediate way, without formalism, with a light and sentimental disenchantment in the context of the city and its surroundings.
The catalog is curated by Annamaria Bernucci. It is published by Minerva with an introduction by Pier Giorgio Pasini and texts by Michela Cesarini, Umberto Giovannini, Oriana Maroni and Sergio Sermasi.
On Sunday 21st January at 4.30 pm, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition ('Scorci riminesi'). Entrance fee: € 3. Reservations must be made before 7 pm on 20th January at 0541 793851.
