On the occasion of St. Joseph's and Father's day celebration in Italy, the traditional bonfires, symbolizing the end of the winter and the arrival of spring, enliven the city and surrounding areas. 
In Marina Centro, harbour area, a street market will be set up and a big bonfire on the beach will be lit up at around 9 pm.  It is a great attraction especially for children, who can have fun in front of the fire in which the last moments of the past winter are "burned".
