After the success of the first showing 8th October, Cinema Tiberio proposes two replicas of the documentary film "JANIS". It is a film that brings  for the first time the music by Janis Joplin at cinema. Janis, a rock icon who was able to enchant the audience and change the history of music, a force of nature who hypnotized the world with her blues voice.
The film, written and directed Amy Berg, who is Oscar nominee, reveals a different image of Janis - a sweet woman, sensitive, but at the same time, strong - that was hidden behind the legend. There will be the words by Janis to tell this through the letters she wrote in the years to parents, friends and relatives. Letters that will be read for the occasion by the singer-songwriter Cat Power.
