'Santo Amato, il Pellegrino delle stelle', is a new form of stylistic and musical performance.
Dedicated to Amato Ronconi, a well-known figure from Saludecio, who made various pilgrimages as a metaphor for Christian life and became a saint.
The work, composed by the master Fabio Masini on a poem by Silvia Bernardi, is performed by an ensemble of 24 musicians and the choir of twelve youngsters directed by Irene Placci Califano.
The intent of the event hosted in the Cathedral of Rimini, is to make known the extraordinary life of a 13th century traveler and pilgrim, who died during the fifth pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela and became a modern figure for the originality of his story.
Patronised by the Diocese of Rimini, the Diocese of Santiago de Compostela and the Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro.
