Seven summer events for a musical revue, the thematic part of the Malatesta Music Festival, dedicated to the new sounds that are located in a border area between present and past, between ‘cultured’ and ‘extra-classical’ music, between lost folk traditions and the universe of world music. Always informed by jazz, which is the glue holding together the genres and sounds ranging between rock, blues, classical, folk and pop from near and far.
The route of Percuotere la Mente 2017 leads between the British atmosphere, the roots of the American folk music and the Italian singer songwriters from past and present.
