The initiative 'Opera at the Cinema' continues with a live broadcast from Royal Opera House in London of Carmen by Bizet. Opéra-comique in four acts, on book by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy is based on the novel by Prosper Mérimée.
Barrie Kosky directs Bizet’s much-loved opera, with Jakub Hrůša conducting a cast led by Anna Goryachova in the title role.
