In the opening day of the XXXIIIth edition of the Rimini Meeting there is proposed an unique event: the melodrama by Giacomo Puccini, Madama Butterfly, in concert form directed by Yang Yang, with Li Shuang, Yao Hong and the China National Opera House. 160 artists of singers and musicians coming from Beijing will be on stage with their traditional costumes.
This exceptional production is realized thanks to the collaboration of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana, the Emilia Romagna Festival, and the Chinese Cultural Ministry.
