In this special year for the number of Fellini anniversaries (from the 70th anniversary of I vitelloni to the 60th of 8½, from the 50th of Amarcord to the 40th of E la nave va to the 30th of the Oscar for lifetime achievement and the death of the director), the Fulgor palace inaugurates the exhibition Fellini/Trubbiani - E la nave va (1983-2023), promoted by the Fellini Museum in Rimini.
On show are more than forty pieces, including photos, sketches and drawings, that tell the genesis and realisation of one of the protagonists of the film whose 40th anniversary occurs this year and which has become the symbol of the Fellini Museum: the rhinoceros, or rather, the love-sick rhino, first locked in the hold and then, in the finale, rescued on the lifeboat.
Valeriano Trubbiani, sculptor and engraver, is also responsible for the invention and realisation of the Austro-Hungarian battleship.
