Monumental cemeteries are places of memory, silence and prayer but also evocative open-air museums, thanks to the sculptures decorating the tombs and the niches built in different styles. Michela Cesarini, art historian, will guide the people on a guided tour of the monumental cemetery of Rimini, where the tomb of Federico Fellini, is located right at the entrance of the historic building, consecrated in 1813. A walk through the cemetery, is an evocative encounter with the art of the past centuries and with the characters who have marked local history in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
