Montefiore, with its imposing castle, rises upon one of the highest hills of the Valconca, allowing a clear view of the coast and the entire lower valley.
The Montefiore Conca castle reopens next Saturday, May 23, from 10 to 19 with guided tours every hour. To ensure safety and compliance with the rules dictated by the government and the region, reservations are required at 3494449144.
Access will be allowed to groups of 10 people per shift and visitors must be provided with masks. In the structure you will find all the sanitary facilities
Access to the ticket office will be regulated by the staff.
In the rooms of the castle, the public will find references on the ground that will indicate the distances to be maintained.

Friday and Saturday from 10 am. To 11 pm.
October
Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 am. to 6 pm.
Special full time from 10 am. to 9 pm. For “Mangiar Sano e Sagra della Castagna” (Eat Healthy and Chestnut Festival)
From November to March
Sunday and holidays from 10 am. to 6 pm.

* The ticket office closes 30 minutes before Rocca’s closing

Note:
In case of bad weather (ice, snow, very strong wind), the castle may be closed, to preserve the visitors’ security.

The artifacts recovered during the excavations of the fortress reveal the life and custom in the castle from the middle of the fourteenth to the late sixteenth century.
