It hosts n.114 tombs of Greek soldiers, forming part of the Third Mountain Brigade of the Greek army which was sent to Italy during the second world war (1944), and is cared for by the Greek Embassy in Rome through the Hellenic community of Emilia-Romagna.

The cemetery is located on a hill close to the main road SS:16 (Riccione - Misano Adriatico) on the right-hand side
