An exhibition dedicated to the Gambalunga library's vast bibliographic and iconographic collection, to mark the 400th anniversary of its foundation.
A journey through time, from the remote Middle Ages to the present, told through rare and precious manuscripts, globes, books, photographs and films.
Housed between the Galleria dell'Immagine and the splendid ancient rooms of the Gambalunga Library, the exhibition is a real opportunity to visit and admire their precious furnishings and important bibliographic collections. Three of the rooms were set up in the first half of the seventeenth century by the librarian Moretti with severe shelves of walnut while the last room, in Venetian style, was decorated by the painter Giovan Battista Costa in the eighteenth century.
