Last appointment of the E ’bal section - Romagna stages for contemporary dance, with Ilinx, the first choreographic action of the Homo Ludens project inspired by the conception of human playful activity expressed by sociologist and anthropologist Roger Caillois.

According to Caillois, the forms of the game can be traced back to four fundamental categories: agon, or competition; alea, the desire and pleasure of abandoning oneself to the whims of fate; mimicry, pretending within the game to be someone else; ilinx, the excitement experienced during the game due to extraneous forces over which you have no control.

Like an individual game, intoxicating to the point of vertigo, this is how Simona Bertozzi's choreography moves, with a reflection on the loneliness of the performer, the testimony of her playful universe and his obstinate dedication to exercise and precision of the gesture.
