Gaetano Donizetti's work, written by Salvadore Cammarano, is inspired by the famous novel 'The Bride of Lammermoor', by Walter Scott.
An opera that has marked, since the evening of its debut at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, on September 26, 1835, a capital page for the history of melodrama.
In Rimini, the passionate Donizetti masterpiece is directed by Stefano Vizioli with Alessandro D'Agostini on the podium of the Italian Opera Philharmonic and in co-production with the Modena Municipal Theater.
On stage in the main roles the soprano Gilda Fiume as Lucia, the tenor Giorgio Berrugi (Edgardo) and the baritone Benjamin Cho (Lord Enrico).
