Puccini's work tells the love stories between young artists of the nineteenth century in Paris, with famous music such as lyric arias and celebratory choirs that evoke Christmas Eve in the Latin quarter and a touching final scene that pushed the composer to tears .
Directed by Richard Jones with Stewart Laing's drawings.
It is currently one of the most loved works in the world and the most represented at the Royal Opera House in London.
