The young peasant Giselle dies when she learns that the man she loves, Albrecht, is promised to another.
Against her will, she joins the Willi, avenging spirits who turn against Albrecht and condemn him to dance until he dies of exhaustion.
In this new production, the choreographer Alexei Ratmansky gives a new perspective to one of the oldest and greatest works of the classical repertoire.
