Fishermen and DJs come together to serve up music and sardines: the ingredients for a great musical parade at the port of Rimini has, since 2012, attracted young people and families with its musical energy, who come to listen to the most famous DJs in Europe that, from vessels with sea views, whip up a perfect combination of musical trends and seafaring tradition.
Special guests of 2017 edition are Ellen Allien and Fabri Fibra, the former is the queen of techno music in Berlin and one of the most followed in the Planet, the latter is the Italian rapper who has won the gold record with the tormenton of the Italian summer.
Along with them there are other 70 DJs, such as Rame, Pastaboys, Provenzano among the best Italians, Ricky Montanari and Cirillo from Rimini, Rudeejay, Da Brozz, Ackeejuice Rockers, Botteghi, Andy Love, Louders and others, all chosen by ten different staffs of the fishing boats to transfer the best artistic and music proposals on the water in the sixth edition of Molo Street Parade.
Meanwhile on the quay, a hundred fishermen will serve the traditional local dishes from 6 pm till late at night.
In addition, along the Tintori beach promenade, from piazzale Boscovich to piazzale Fellini, restaurants and venues will create entertainment and animation, and for the lovers of ‘liscio’ dance a ‘ballroom’ by Casadei Danze will be set up in the skating area.
An anticipation of Molo Street Parade is scheduled on Friday 23rd June with the Molo Village Parade: a mix of Food, Music and Fun on the beach promenade Tintori, from Grand Hotel roundabout to the Panoramic Wheel, from 7 pm.
