Historical-photographic exhibition dedicated to Nikos Beloyannis, symbol of the Greek resistance,on the occasion of the 75th year of the Liberation of the city at the City Museum.
In addition to being the human and political story of Beloyannis, the exhibition is also a journey through the history of Greece from 1912 to 1974, the year in which the country freed itself from the dictatorship of the colonels and conquered democracy.
The exhibition will be inaugurated Saturday 7 September with the presentation by Dario De Jaco, curator of the exhibition
The evening of Saturday 21 September will be dedicated to the screening of the film “L’uomo con il garofano”, directed by Nikos Tzimas, at the Municipal Film Library at 9 pm.
The exhibition is promoted by ACLI art and entertainment, ANPI and Historical Institute of the Resistance in collaboration with the Piedmont-Greece Association "Santorre di Santarosa" and with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Rimini.
