Three days of meetings, round tables, book presentations, guided tours ... where the past is read to understand the present and build the future with greater awareness.
The hot topic of the event is that of work, a necessity of the individual and the community that runs throughout human history and which today is undergoing a critical evolutionary season.
In the spirit of the Festival, the theme of work will be faced having a special cosideration for the social and creative dimension, with an eye towards the "ancient" crafts. Particular attention will be paid to work in the field of cultural heritage.
In addition to Tito Boeri who will hold a 'lectio magistralis' scheduled for Friday 11 October, the protagonists of this edition are Andrea Augenti, Marcello Barbanera, Giovanni Brizzi, Franco Cardini, Roberto M. Danese, Stefano De Carolis, Davide Domenici, Mauro Felicori, Francesco Maria Galassi, Egidio Ivetic, Valerio Massimo Manfredi, Stefano Medas, Piero Meldini, Federico Maria Muccioli, Maria Giuseppina Muzzarelli, Annalisa Pozzi, Antonella Prenner, Donatella Puliga, Lucio Russo, Sergio Sabbadini, Michela Sassi, Sergio Valzania ...
Anticipating the many initiatives that Rimini will dedicate to Federico Fellini in 2020, the centenary of the birth of the great director, Friday 11 October, in the historic Cinema Fulgor, will be presented the restored version of the 'Satyricon', a 1969 film in which the dreamlike reinterpretation of the classical text is a metaphor for the present.
Alongside the initiatives for adults, there will be initiatives for young people with the Piccolo Mondo Antico Festival. All in the name of creativity and fun, in a narrative that cannot be separated from experience and multi-sensorial involvement.
