The Opera season of the Galli Theater pays homage to Fellini with the debut of the new opera by composer Matteo d’Amico, inspired by a film never made, which should have been titled 'The journey of Mastorna' and which soon became legendary.
Directed by Valter Malosti, also on stage in the role of Federico Fellini himself, this unprecedented transposition of the cinematographic subject has as its protagonist a musician traveling to the afterlife.
The singers - the baritone Luca Grassi, the sopranos Yulia Tkachenko and Vittoria Magnarello, the mezzo-soprano Eleonora Lué, the tenor Aslan Halil Ufuk and the bass Ken Watanabe - are accompanied by two actors - Marco Manchisi and Matteo Baiardi - and by the dancer Barbara Martinini: all together they are committed to giving life to the crowd of characters foreseen in the score by Matteo D'Amico, with the young musicians of the Arcangelo Corelli Orchestra entrusted to the baton of Jacopo Rivani.
The pre-sale of tickets is available starting from Thursday 29 July at the Galli Theater or online
