Limited Traffic Zone - Pedestrian areas

Part of Rimini historic centre is Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) and only authorized vehicles have access. The area is controlled by C’entro - Controllo elettronico della ZTL.
There are six entry points to Rimini historic centre which are equipped with video cameras. During the times when access is forbidden for any unauthorised vehicle, be prepared to pay a fine.

Access for hotel guests in the historic centre:
Access is allowed to vehicles of guests who have a booking in hotels situated in the historic centre: the pedestrian area - AP - and limited traffic zone - Z.T.L.
- the access to the vehicles will be granted through comunication of the vehicle licence plate by the hotel direction to Rimini Municipality.

 

ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) - NORTH SEA PARK
In 2023, the ZTL of the PARCO DEL MARE NORD is active every day from the Saturday before Easter until the second Sunday of September - to access the area it is necessary to have an access permit.
From 2024, and for the following years, in the period from the Saturday before Easter until May 31st the ZTL will be active only on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, while from June 1st to the second Sunday of September the ZTL will be active every day, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with the exception of the sections between via Polazzi and via Palotta (between Viserbella and Viserba) and between via Borghesi and via Verenin Grazia (Viserbella), where access is forbidden only in the evening, from 8.00pm to midnight.
The ZTL Parco del Mare Rimini Nord are 4:

TORRE PEDRERA
VISERBELLA
VISERBA
RIVABELLA

The permits issued in the 4 areas allow access only to the gates of the area in which the applicant is located.
Also in this area it the accommodation facilities where customers stay that request the permit through the portal made available by the Municipality of Rimini.
Also the owners of residential houses must request the authorization to access the vehicles of their tenants in the case of rental contracts lasting at least 60 days. For rental contracts of less than 60 days, the tenant must independently request a daily permit on the portal for loading and unloading operations. In this case, transit is not allowed from 8:00pm to midnight during the summer for the Parco del Mare Rimini North / South tourist area.
