By train from Munich to Rimini in one night. A daily connection from 10 June to 9 September 2023, with evening departures from Vienna and Munich to arrive in Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica early in the morning, ready to go to the beach. The new train routes are guaranteed by ÖBB (Österreichische Bundesbahnen), in collaboration with Trenitalia. The train – Nightjet - will leave from Vienna and Munich (respectively at 7:18pm and 8:09pm), arriving in Romagna in the very early morning. The return from the Romagna coast is expected in the early evening with arrival in Vienna and Munich by 10am the following morning.
Tickets starting from Euro 28.80. The direct connections between Austria, Germany and the Riviera thus rise to a total of three: in addition to the daily Munich-Rimini two new night routes from Vienna and Munich.
In fact, the night service joins the summer daytime train Munich – Rimini (with a stop in Cesena), guaranteed for some years now by the German and Austrian railways (Deutsche Bahn and ÖBB), active from May 25 to September 9, 2023:
Munich 9.30am > Rimini 5.33pm
Rimini 10.34am > Munich 6.27pm
