Historical re-enactment proposed by the XXIII Legio Gemina Cultural Association

Organized by the Legio XIII Gemina cultural association, and based on archaeological experimentation and historical research on a Roman legion - the 13th - during this event, the participants will discover some of the aspects of the life of a 1st Century AD Roman soldier.
The admission is limited to 200 people, hosted on the waterside square, at the foot of the Tiberius Bridge.
In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to September 1st.

XXII edition: Magnificent Obsessions

Five days of meetings, round tables, book presentations, guided tours... where we can read the past to understand the present and build our future with greater awareness. 
The inspiration for this year's edition, the XXII in its history, is the Raffaello exhibition in Rimini. The return of the Diotallevi Madonna that the Luigi Tonini City Museum welcomes from 17 October 2020 to 10 January 2021.
As the title states, the program is dedicated to passions, which can become MAGNIFICENT OBSESSIONS.
Between history, literature, philosophy, archeology, art, anthropology, sport ... the Ancient World Festival expands into several days of appointments (14, 16, 17, 18, 21 October) with the involvement of important scholars starting with the guests of the opening day, Alessandro Vanoli, Maurizio Bettini and Piero Meldini, which will alternate at the City Museum (Wednesday 14 October from 3.30 pm). The farewell of the Festival, scheduled at the Galli Theater on Wednesday 21 October at 18.30 and entrusted to Massimo Recalcati, has instead been canceled. Prudently the expected meeting, that had already sold out from the first booking day, has been postponed to 2021.
Alongside the initiatives for adults, the Piccolo Mondo Antico Festival is back on Wednesday 14, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, with new proposals for younger people and all in the name of game, creativity and fun.
On Wednesday 14, Saturday 17 and Sundayac 18 there will be guided tours to discover monuments and museums and a program of historical re-enactments by the Legio XIII Gemina Rubico will bring to life the spaces of the Surgeon's House and the Garden of the City Museum named after Khaled al-Asaad.
Also the original museums of Rimini Province - such as Bellaria, Cattolica, Riccione, Santarcangelo, Verucchio - partecipate with a network of events, gathered within "The Elsewhere Festival".

At the Rimini ‘No Limits to Fly’ gallery, the master woodcutter Riccardo Zani Faetaninila presents the solo exhibit entitled 'Alias ​​... Fariza'. From Saturday 1 August the exhibition is open to everyone. The venue is held in via Bertola 17.
Under the title of "Alias ​​... Fariza" (nickname that combines the first syllables of the artist's name), the exhibition mainly collects engravings, but also drawings, paintings, sketches made with other techniques.
Among the engravings, the colorful work dedicated to Federico Fellini and the suggestive woodcuts that tell of a trip to the Congo made by Riccardo Zani Faetanini many years ago.
And yet the eight tables created by drawing on newspapers front pages, among which a self-portrait of the artist stands out.

Un mare di Rosa: The Pink Night on the beach among fire performances, wine tasting and the magic of fireworks

In a path illuminated by thousands of lights on the shore, the beach of Rimini becomes the stage of the Pink Night.
Round thirty shows, including fire performers, fire eaters and live music, will take place on the seashore next to the kiosks which will offer entertainment and special pink cocktails. A sea of wine, the wine tasting event taking place every year near the sea, returns for the occasion with 50 wineries located along the beach with refreshment points, where you can taste wines and typical local products.
And at midnight a great and colourful fireworks display will light up the whole Adriatic Riviera.
