Great music and famous italian singers for the autumn season in Rimini

After a summer rich of music, with over fifty international artists who have performed from the beach to the historic center, the great musical events continue even in autumn. Eros Ramazzotti, Vinicio Capossela, Les Concert des Nations orchestra, the pianist Angela Hewitt, Daniele Silvestri, are just some of the protagonists of the Rimini musical autumn.

On October 6th in Rimini Vinicio Capossela's autumnal theatre tour starts from the Teatro Galli. The tour follows the release of his latest album "Ballads for men and beasts", is presented by the author as "a song for all creatures". Ticket sales on  www.ticketone.it  and in authorized retailers.

The RDS Stadium, hosts two important appointments with great Italian artists: new adventure for Daniele Silvestri who returns in 2019 with a long tour in the stadiums to celebrate his 25 years of career and a new recording project. Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, Silvestri will be at RDS Stadium in Rimini, on November 9th 2019 accompanied by a band of exceptional musicians (info and pre-sales pulp concerto 3290058054).
On 29 November one of the most famous Italian artists in the world, EROS RAMAZZOTTI, will be in Rimini at the RDS Stadium with the "Vita ce n'è" World Tour. Ramazzotti will be accompanied, as always, by exceptional musicians: Luca Scarpa on the piano, Giovanni Boscariol on the keyboards, Paolo Costa on the bass, Giorgio Secco on the guitar and the three new international entries Corey Sanchez (guitars), Eric Moore ( drums) and Scott Paddock (sax), who has collaborated, among others, with Natalie Cole, Jackson Browne, Ray Charles and with the choirs of Monica Hill, Christian Lavoro and Giorgia Galassi. The Galli Theater continues its fantastic musical season with the events of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana (www.sagramusicalemalatestiana.it) which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2019. Since 1950 the most prestigious directors, soloists and international orchestras propose Symphonic Concerts and several side projects. Two exceptional events, on October 11th and December 14th, will see Le Concert des Nations and the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia conclude the "Symphonic Concerts" series of the Malatesta Music Festival. Jordi Savall conducts the Third and Fifth Symphonie, two Beethoven masterpieces proposed with the sound of the original instruments.The Venezuelan maestro Gustavo Dudamel made his debut in Rimini (December 14th) on the podium of the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, with a program focused on the Second Symphony by Franz Schubert and the Second Symphony by Johannes Brahms.

In the meantime, appointments with the festival's side events continue with numerous concerts of the sections "Chamber Music", "Young People and the Festival" and "Ancient Music".

The rich chamber music programme at the Galli Theater, starts with the Ensemble Zefiro, that proposes (October 15th) the complete Brandenburg Concertos by Bach. With the presence of Simonide Braconi on the viola, the renowned Trio di Parma (November 9) presents a program dedicated to chamber music by Johannes Brahms and Antonin Dvorak. The pianist Angela Hewitt will perform (October 22nd) in a program entirely dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach, while to Franz Liszt and his visionary Harmonies poétique et religieuses is dedicated (December 7) the recital by Enrico Pace, a talent from Rimini.

The Wunderkammer Orchestra debuts at the Teatro Galli (November 17) with Carlo Tenan on the podium and with the composer Paolo Marzocchi on the piano in a program that moves from Gershwin to original contemporary horizons.

More than a concert (November 21st) the meeting between two great soloists such as the cellist Giovanni Sollima and the mandolinist Avi Avital, will be the occasion for an exciting journey into the history of music, from the Baroque to the current era.

Last date with the ancient music will be on Sunday 29 September at the Sala Pamphili with the soprano Laura Catrani accompanied on the harpsichord and organ by Claudio Astronio who will perform in 'Highlands and Sea', vocal and instrumental counterpoint that oscillates between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries, between Claudio Monteverdi and Henry Purcell, to touch the twentieth century with authors such as Arvo Part and Philip Glass.

The 70th edition of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana,does not lack attention for young people. Among the events proposed in autumn at the Teatro Galli, the Orchestra of the Lettimi Institute directed by Stefano Pecci proposes an original program entitled Ghenenis, written by the young composer Antimo D'Agostino (Saturday 19 October), while the soloists of the Accademia Lirica di Osimo will propose a chamber version of La Traviata with the direction and narration of Noris Borgogelli. The event to be held on 19 October in memory of Minnie Torsani, is free by invitation. And last but not least the Opera: on stage November 29 and Sunday December 1 the Vincenzo Bellini Norma, directed by Cristina Muti and the presence of the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra, in co-production with the Fondazione Teatro di Ravenna.
