The countdown to celebrate Ferragosto (mid-August bank holiday) has started and Rimini and its Riviera continue to welcome their guests with a smile.
Music, from rock to opera, cinema, theatrical performances, cultural events, guided tours, but also initiatives for families and sports activities will take place in the city, between the historic center and the sea area, in a circuit of outdoor arenas under the stars. Among the proposals, the live shows of the schedule 'And they call it Rimini' (E la chiamano Rimini), the Mid-August summer party set in the America of the 50s-60s-70s, between film screenings and music in the suggestive square of the Marina di Rimini and the live music in Fellini square, next to the Grand Hotel, where the Festival of Italian craft beer is on for the whole weekend. Furthermore, until 21 August, the entertainment, music and sympathy of RDS 100% Grandi Successi, Radio partner of the summer in Rimini, will be broadcast live - 7 days a week - from the Belvedere in Piazzale Kennedy, with the unmistakable voices of Roberta Lanfranchi, Claudio Guerrini and Paolo Piva.

Even on August 15th, Rimini offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in a sea of culture and discover the historic center. The "Luigi Tonini" City Museum and the Domus del Chirurgo (via L.Tonini, 1 and Piazza Ferrari) remain open on August 15th (10am-7.00pm), giving a chance to visit the historical, artistic and archaeological heritage of Rimini, from its origins to the twentieth century including the nearby archaeological site of Piazza Ferrari with the remains of the Domus del Chirurgo, internationally known for the discovery of the richest set of surgical instruments that came to us from antiquity.

As usual, the 15 Rimini tourist committees along the coast also propose initiatives to be shared safely, for a weekend illuminated by the unmissable fireworks on the beach (August 15th in Torre Pedrera and Miramare areas).

And, after mid-August, the events schedule continues with 'Meeting for friendship among peple', while among the September events stand out the 'Sagra Musicale Malatestiana', the double appointment with MotoGP at Misano World Circuit, the 'Italian Bike Festival' and at the end of the month 'Al meni', the traditional culinary event with famous chefs postponed from June to September and 'Giardini d'Autore', the gardening exhibition full of appointments and new ideas for decorating home and garden.
