THE LAW OF THE DREAMER

Wednesday 22 January. 16 January is the Italian publication date for The Law of the Dreamer, the latest book by Daniel Pennac, published by Feltrinelli Editore and a great tribute to Federico Fellini. The book will become a performance, as Pennac is taking it on tour with readings in Milan, Turin and Rimini, of course, thanks to a production by Compagnie MIA – Il Funaro, in co-production with Intesa Sanpaolo, adapted by Clara Bauer and Daniel Pennac, directed by Clara Bauer.
The Law of the Dreamer is inspired by Pennac’s lifelong passion for a master of Italian film, who was able to dialogue his whole life with his dream. An enormous theatre in which a marvellous representation of life is staged. “The theatrical project on the resurrection of Fellini is the most real thing in the whole story. After dreaming it, not only did I develop it, but I told the actors in our troupe, our Italian Funaro group and the direction at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan”. On stage, together with Daniel Pennac will be Pako Ioffredo, Demi Licata and Gaetano Lucido, with original music by Alice Loup.
