The 'Accademia di Santa Cecilia' closes the 70th Malatesta Music Festival

As part of the symphonic events of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana, the 'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia' closes the Malatesta Music Festival on Saturday December 14th.
The conductor, Maestro Mihhail Gerts, just back from the success at the Paris Philharmonique will present works by Schubert and Brahms.
The program, together with the symphonies of Schubert and Brahms, includes the overture of the Semiramis, the last melodrama composed in Italy by Gioachino Rossini.

The Santa Cecilia National Orchestra, is the first Italian team to devote itself exclusively to the symphonic repertoire. Founded in 1908, the Orchestra of the Santa Cecilia National Academy held about 15,000 concerts with the most famous artists on the world scene.

Saturday 14 December at the Galli Theatre at 9.00pm
