Parco Marecchia is also known as Parco XXV Aprile.
In the park, a cycle ride winds up through Rimini’s green heart (around 20 kilometres, recommended for mountain bikes). It actually starts in Rivabella (near the Marecchia River deviator) and once over the cycle-pedestrian wooden bridge that crosses the river, meets XXV Aprile Park that leads to Tiberius Bridge. From here, the cycle path runs along the old channel of the Marecchia River as far as Villa Verucchio, offering splendid fluvial panoramic views of the Valmarecchia Valley. The cycle path continues uphill getting to Torriana.
Vegetation there depends on the river running close by.
You can even run into animals there such as buzzards, coots and so on.
In the park there are sport facilities and games for children.
