The travelling road show of wines and the PDO and PGI Emilia Romagna food is an opportunity to taste the local wines and the typical gastronomy products presented by experts.
The format, now in its tenth year, offers a suggestive street wine path of tastings managed by sommeliers of AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) in Emilia Romagna. There will be present hundreds of regional labels ranging from Sangiovese, Albana, Trebbiano and Pagadebit di Romagna, to fresh and sparkling Lambrusco wines of Emilia, from the wines from Ferrara, to Pignoletto from the hillside of Bologna, the Malvasia from Parma and the Gutturnio and Ortrugo from Piacenza.
In addition on the route of wines there will be present the products branded PDO and PGI by the regional associations, ‘Strade dei Vini e dei Sapori’ such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma and Modena, Salami from Piacenza, Mortadella and Potatoes from Bologna, the Piadina, the Traditional Balsamic vinegars, the extra virgin olive oil of Brisighella, peaches and nectarines of Romagna, pears of Emilia-Romagna and garlic from Voghiera.
The evening will be accompanied by a musical performance in the magical setting of Rimini historic centre.
