A fusion between xylographic installations, music and sounds thought for the New Wing of the Museum of the City of Rimini. Umberto Giovannini - a visual artist with a past among printmaking, performing arts and music - explores the perception of the contemporary, reread through the lens of a collective memory.
The entire project, conceived between Rome and Catania and built between London and Italy from 2016 to 2019, consists in a series of installations of polychrome xylographies printed on washi paper, where the visual and sound experiences created together with the Riminese musician Stefano Pagliarani are mixed.
On the occasion of the exhibition, the book 'Parole per LINA' by Walter Pretolani will be presented.
