The music festival dedicated to Jean-Philippe Rameau will be completed with a rediscovery of two musicians - Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre and Antonia Bembo – who have been working in France during the period of Louis XIV.
Their vocal and instrumental compositions will be performed by the group ‘Armonia delle Sfere’: Gloria Banditelli mezzo soprano, Miho Kamiya soprano, Daniele Salvatore flute, Perikli Pite bass viola and Silvia Rambaldi harpsichord.
Music by Antonia Bembo: a selection from her 'Harmonic productions', of 41 vocal tracks - sacred, profane and encomiastic - dated between 1697 and 1701 .
The compositions by Elisabeth - Claude Jacquet de La Guerre, known singer and harpsichord player, born in 1665:
'La Flamande', in D minor, the Sonate V, taken from the collection Sonates pour le Viollon et pour le Clavecin, published in 1707, and some arias from the collection 'Cantates francoises' (ca. 1715).
