The 67th edition of Sagra Musicale Malatestiana will conclude, as usual, with the Sunday Concerts, four appointments with chamber music in November. The concerts will bring on stage classical pieces performed by abled and skilled musicians.

The Chamber music festival by Sagra Musicale Malatestiana

The chamber music concerts will open with the young pianist Alexander Romanovsky. Alexander, born in Ukraine in 1984, has studied with Leonid Margarius at the Piano Academy of Imola for fifteen years before continuing the studies at the Royal College of Music in London with Dmitry Alexeev. Since 2014 he is the artistic director of Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition. On stage he will perform in music by Schumann, Arabesque in C Major for Piano op.18, Toccata in C major for piano op.7, Carnaval, Op. 9, and Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky.

The chamber music festival continues with the debut of the Trio San Carlo: Giovanni Imparato on piano, Luca Sartori, clarinet and Luca Improta, violin.
The trio will perform in a music program which includes Mozart's 'Trio in E flat major K498 Kegelstatt'; followed by  'Pieces for Clarinet, Viola and Piano,' op. 83 n 1,2,5,6,7, by Bruch, and 'Trio for clarinet, viola and piano' by Francaix.

String Quartet with Elise De-Bendelac, Emeline Conce, Lucie Mercat, Louise Desjardins

The appointment with the chamber music festival is with the French string quartet, Quatuor Akilone, who has won the International Competition in Bordeaux in 2016.
Elise De-Bendelac violin, Emeline Conce violin, Lucie Mercat cello, Louise Desjardins viola, will propose a musical program that includes:
Haydn’s Quartet in G major op.20 no.3, Quartet in A minor Op.13 nr. 2 (MWV R22) by Mendelssohn and String Quartet in F minor by Ravel.

The German pianist proposes music by Schumann

Alexander Lonquich is the protagonist of the second last concert of the festival dedicated to chamber music. He will perform on piano in four compositions by Schumann:
Interludes op. 4, Phantasiestücke op.12, studies in the form of variation on a theme by Beethoven WoO31, and Davidsbündlertänze op. 6.

Concert by the String Orchestra Rimini Classica with the violinist Laura Marzadori

Event offered to the city by the will and in memory of Minnie Torsani

The festival of chamber music will be concluded by a concert offered to the city of Rimini by the will and in memory to Minnie Torsani.
The String Orchestra, Rimini Classica, will be on stage with the violonist, Laura Marzadori, as soloist and conductor, in ‘The Four Seasons Op.8' by Vivaldi.
The invitations will be distributed from Tuesday 29th November at the Novelli Theatre, up to availability of seats.
