Salon Wittgenstein is an original performance of words and music which focuses on the relationship between music and philosophy of the two brothers, Paul and Ludwig Wittgenstein. The WWI has marked them both and while the young Ludwig begins to develop a radical change linked to the philosophy, his brother Paul, who has lost an arm, has to reinvent his career as a pianist beginning to write transcription for the left hand of works by classical and modern composers.
These transcripts - from Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn to Puccini - will be performed by the pianist Alessandro Tardino accompanied by the narrative voice of the actress Giovanna Daddi.
It is an event in collaboration with the l’Accademia Pianistica di Imola - the piano academy.
