On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Italian Liberation, 25th April, the Association of the Italian Partisans in Rimini proposes a series of events.
After the screening of the documentary "Emilia rossa, cuore nero" by Gabriele Veronesi and the presentation of the book "Io che conosco il tuo cuore" by Adelmo Cervi, Friday 24th April at 10.30 am, in the high school "G.Cesare-M.Valgimigli" there will be an award ceremony of the 4th edition of the "Amedeo Montemaggi", an initiative related to historical research by the students.
In the evening, at 9 pm, there will be a music parade in the historic centre by the band "Fiati sprecati" with stops at places of resistance in the city. The departure is from the Arch of Augustus.
Saturday 25th April, at 5 pm, will be proposed the documentary film “La donna nella Resistenza" (1965) by Liliana Cavani, followed by the opening of the exhibition "Per non dimenticare la Resistenza delle donne nel riminese” in the Library Gambalunga (at 6.30 pm)..
The calender of initiatives will be concluded Wednesday 29th April with the presentation of  the book “Per la libertà e la democrazia. Antifascismo e Resistenza a Rimini e nel Riminese (1943-1944)” (at 5 pm). There will be a speech by Alberto De Bernardi, president of the Institute Parri in Bologna, an institution linked to the History and Memories of the '900.

Music parade for the 70° Anniversary of the Italian Liberation

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Italian Liberation, the National Association of Italian Partisans proposes a musical parade in the historic centre by the Florentine band "Fiati Sprecati", composed of about twenty musicians. The parade will depart from the Arch of Augustus and will stop at the significant places of the resistance in the city of Rimini. During the stops there will be readings dedicated to the history and the various places of the Resistance. At the end of the tour, in Piazza Cavour, there will be songs and dances together until midnight in order to welcome the 70th Italian Liberation Day.
The evening is within the various national initiatives: “Liberazione 2015: liberi anche di cantare e ballare”, Liberation 2015: free also to sing and dance.
