Róisín Murphy in concert

The summer music festival of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana continues with a concert of the Irish artist, Roisin Murphy.
The music sound by Róisín Murphy, former vocalist of Moloko, is a mix of dark cabaret, disco and house music (classic and electronic) - the joy and pain of pop revisited in a new mode.
'Take Her Up To Monto' is her new album which follows the EP 'Mi Senti' of 2014 (a collection of Italian songs of the '60s and' 70s) and the album ' Hairless Toys' released in 2015.
The title 'Take her up to Monto' is inspired by a famous Irish folk song by Dubliners which her father used to sing to her when she was a child, and it is the result of an artistic metamorphosis.
Róisín will be accompanied on stage by Ed Stevens, keyboard, Jamie McCredie, guitar, Kevin Toublant, bass, and Jeremy Doulton, percussion.

Blonde Redhead in concert accompanied by a string quartet

The third appointment of the festival of new music is with 'Blonde Redhead', a trio from New York composed by the Italian twins Pace and the Japanese Kazu Makino, guitar and vocals.
Their music sound has always been associated to the 'post-no wave / noise' and their name comes from a song by the DNA of Arto Lindsay. In 2004 the band released 'Misery is a Butterfly': a small jewel of wonderful songs, sweet melodies, rarefied atmosphere, memories from the 60's, tributes to the Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Battisti and others.
For the first time the album will be performed in all its tracks, and on stage the trio will be accompanied by a string quartet.
