The Sagra Musicale Malatestiana music festival celebrates the sixth centenary of birth of Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, the Lord of Rimini during the most beautiful period of humanism. The concert is the opening of an important section of performances dedicated to ancient music.
The suggestive Malatesta Temple, built by Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, will be an integral part of the polyphonic program proposed by the voices of the Ensemble De Labyrintho, and dedicated to one of the most impressive masterpieces of the composer Orlando Lasso, Prophetiae Sybillarum.
The ensemble De Labyrintho was born in 2001 by Walter Testolin with the aim to bring together some of the most prestigious Italian interpreters of the Renaissance and Pre-Classical repertoire to spread the Renaissance vocal musics.
