The National Sport Association Libertas, with the collaboration of the Regional Libertas Committee in Emilia Romagna and the ASD Group of martial arts in Forlì, organizes:
- The National Championship of Traditional Karate to children, male and female, individual and team of Kata and Kihon Ippon Kumite classes and different categories up to 13 years old;
- The National Championship of Traditional Karate male, female, individual and team of Kata and Kumite categories and classes different from 14 years old and onwards.
The characteristics of the traditional karate is that the technical actions are strictly generated by the full foot contact with the ground and the use of a strong and quick action of the hips.
