The cultural association of Historical Re-enactment in Rimini, Legio XIII Gemina, will be in the Visitor Center to tell about Ariminum, the ancient Roman town. The initiative is realized through two different approches to history, the multimedial language and the historical re-enactment, with the common goal to engage visitors and achieve interest.
In this initiative, visitors will meet different characters of the ancient Ariminum in historical dresses who will tell them about their daily lives supported by the multimedial and interactive tour of the Visitor Center, which explores the ancient Rimini.
You may listen to the blacksmith who tells about his work and displays his artifacts, or ask the ‘Matrona’ about her beauty secrets or the skillful saleswoman about the origin of her merchandise: in short, you can meet many other characters, as if you were in an Ancient Roman city.
The event will be held in the multimedial and interactive setting of the Visitors Center, that introduces Ariminum, the ancient Roman Rimini, with its treasures and its beauty through new languages, evocative images, interactive technologies, exhibition areas and information tools.
The goal of 'ARimini Caput Viarum' is to offer visitors the opportunity to be an active protagonist in a suggestive journey through history, in order to increase knowledge and interest for the discovery of the whole territory.
