The calendar for the Grand Hotel's birthday celebrations is rich of important initiatives. The Grand Hotel Rimini boasts a century of history marked by the legend of Fellini. 
The celebrations will take place from the end of June to the end of August and will have as their heart in the Grand Hotel itself, but not only: thanks to Amarcord and Fellini, the Grand Hotel opens its doors to numerous initiatives extended to the city.
The events will start on Tuesday, June 26th with "L'Ouverture de la Terrasse d'été": 10 international chefs will be led by the executive chef Claudio di Bernardo, for the spectacular inauguration of the Grand Summer Buffet on the terrace. The event will be repeated every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday throughout the summer season.
On Tuesday, July 3rd at 6.30 pm the book 'HOTEL: RIMINI IL MITO' will be presented. The book, curated by Letizia Magnani and published by Minerva edizioni, is dedicated to the history of this unique hotel in the world, between myth and dream, which has become national monument since 1994.
July 5th, preview of the long Pink Night, will be the most important and solemn day of all with the Gala Evening. It will be a magical night, in evening dress, on the terrace, to recall the glories and the high society tourism of the twenties, the Belle Époque and that magical period that immediately followed the inauguration of the hotel, which took place in July 1908. Entrance paid by invitation.
From 6th July the “Tonino Guerra” room will hosts the exhibition "110 years of travel stories", which will remain open to the public till 19th August.
Among other initiatives, exclusive beach parties, with DJ sets, waiting for the sunset (on Friday July 20^th and August 24th) and a dinner under the stars in a romantic and liberty atmosphere (on Wednesday, August 1st) and in addition sport events such as the 'Corsa nella storia' (a run in history: on Thursday August 9th and 23th) and the 'Pedalata nella storia' (a ride by bicycle on Friday, August 31st on the occasion of the Italian Bike Festival).
