J. S. Bach, Biber, Marini, Corelli: four protagonists of baroque music that no one would associate with the harp, but who worked in environments where the harpist activity is widely testified and in which a repertoire for a single harp, although certainly existed, has never been written. Starting from these premises an ambitious project is born, fruit of a long research on the sources. It reveals that the repertoire of the violin, an instrument that shares many idiomatic characteristics with the harp, has represented a source from which to draw in the executive practice. Hence the idea of adapting for the harp, pieces of extreme violin virtuosity, thus giving new life to famous music, which here are illuminated by unexpected reflections and unknown veils.
