On 9 April, opening day of the photographic exhibition “Fellini between dream and reality: the photographic contribution of Rodrigo Pais”, curated by Glenda Furini and Guido Gambetta, at the Palazzo del Fulgor.
A series of images that testifies to some important steps in Federico Fellini's artistic career: Rodrigo Pais portrays him on the street, on public occasions, in interviews, previews and awards.
A section of the exhibition is dedicated to the events that inspired or were inspired by the film La dolce vita.

The Roman photojournalist Rodrigo Pais enters the world of photography in the mid-1950s, collaborates mainly with the newspapers Paese, Paese Sera, l'Unità and with the weekly Vie Nuove but also with other newspapers and period magazines such as Corriere della Sera, the Corriere d 'informazione, La Stampa, Il Giornale d'Italia, Il Mondo.
Together with his cooleague Giorgio Sartarelli he founded the Pais & Sartarelli agency which was active until 1972. The photojournalist activity lasted almost 50 years and ended in 1998.
The photographic and professional archive documents photojournalistic activity from 1955 to 1998 and is made up of nearly 380,000 phototypes.
It is part of the collections of the University Library of Bologna, the central library of the University located in the beating heart of the university village, inside the ancient Palazzo Poggi.
