On 5th January 2019, at 5.00 pm, a new room dedicated to the Renzo Sancisi collection of sacred silverware will be inaugurated at the "Luigi Tonini" Museum.
The collection concerns the Liturgical Chalices from the 15th to the 20th century, on a temporary loan.
Sixty-seven ecclesiastical goblets can be admired on the first floor, the main part of the entire collection.
In the same place will also be exposed the famous golden Crucifix by Benvenuto Cellini.
It was hidden to be saved from the many bombings on Rimini during the last world war and was recovered intact in the summer of 1945.
