Rimini Marathon, the 42 km run, is a big national and international sport event which involves the whole city, touching the most evocative places in Rimini historic centre and not only.
The start and finish of the race is near the Arch of Augustus in Rimini historic centre, where the Marathon Village will be set up from Saturday 29th April with music, entertainment, shopping and gastronomic stands. In the evening of Saturday 29th April, at 8.30 pm, there will be a live concert by Moca Club.
Even in this year's edition is scheduled the TEN MILES race, 16.094 m - a national and international race approved by the FIDAL sport association.
The final step of both the marathons enters in Rimini passing on the Tiberius Bridge and crossing the historical centre they arrive to the finish at the Arch of Augustus.
Even this year there is the national meeting of the 'spingitori', the wheelchair 'conductors', an initiative by a group with the aim to give disabled people the opportunity to live the excitement of a marathon by pushing their wheelchairs along the route.
There are also scheduled the Family Run of 9 km (Sunday) and a mini-marathon to children, the Kids Run of 1,8 km (Saturday).
