"Mi Muovo Elettrico” (I Move Electric) is the project for electric mobility of the Region Emilia -Romagna

Rimini is one of the ten cities in the region Emilia Romagna which is involved in a project started in 2010 in collaboration with Enel. It is the first European project for electric mobility on a regional scale, an agreement for zero-emission mobility.

At present there are two recharge stations in Rimini, one in via Beccadelli, in the seaside area, and one in Rimini Fiera, the Expo Centre. These are only two of the 20 stations which are planned to be part of the Emilia Romagna project “Mi Muovo Elettrico” (I Move Electric) for charging electric vehicles in strategic urban areas.

The Enel infrastructures are highly innovative with a smart, entirely remotely controlled system for recharging. Users are identified by their personal card, making the station simple and secure to use.
Every charging station is part of a network which allows customer to use any charging points in the entire region. So that the citizens of Bologna, Rimini, Reggio Emilia, Imola, Modena and Piacenza are be able to “fill up” their vehicles with electric power in any of these six towns at no extra cost, thus considerably extending the range for zero-emissions mobility.
