The longest New Year’s Eve in the world: street market and solidarity lottery

The local voluntary associations meet the Christmas street market.
A winter afternoon to warm up with taste, solidarity, manual skills, notes, art and hugs. Over 30 volunteer associations from the Rimini area meet at the Borgo for a special afternoon.
Together we will build on the road, a large colorful "Mandala" with multicoloured sawdust.
Street artists will liven up Viale Tiberio. At 5.30pm at the stand of La Societa de Borg you can warm up together with mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Following the original Lottery Solidale, with tickets offered free to all visitors.

Starting from the morning Santa Claus will wander along the streets of the village and collect the children’s letters. Lots of quality Christmas  stalls for unconventional shopping. Many activities for young and old. Street artists, fire eaters, stilt walkers, equestrian performances with music, elves and Santa Claus will liven up the village throughout the afternoon with Christmas and Fellini atmospheres.

Borgo Natale: lighting of the illumination and torchlight procession

The longest New Year’s Eve in the world

Even in the village so loved by Fellini, a torchlight procession with torches will symbolize the beginning of the Christmas holidays.
At 4.30pm in Piazzale Vannoni the distribution of the torches that will be lit at 5.00pm in the presence of the Rimini youth city band. To commemorate the Maestro, various "Fellini" characters will participate as the Gradisca, the Volpina, the lawyer, the Tabaccaia and the father of Titta who, will reach the bridge of Tiberius, where, as for the ‘fogheraccia’ of Amarcord, the old is set on fire for a new happy future. The whole village will be decorated with illuminations that recall the peacock from the film "Amarcord" with its famous "wheel".
The event will also be a time for fundraising in favor of Arop (a Rimini pediatric oncology association).

One year after the great success of the opening of the Teatro A. Galli, the Banda Città di Rimini will perform with the traditional Gran Concerto of the Epiphany which concludes a year of activity.
The Banda Città di Rimini, directed by Maestro Jader Abbondanza, will go on stage performing in a program of classical-symphonic and operatic music selected from its vast repertoire.

The longest New Year’s Eve in the world - The Concert in Piazza Malatesta

Between the ramparts of Castel Sismondo and the reborn walls of the Galli Theater, Piazza Malatesta hosts the concert that will animate New Year's Eve in the historic center of Rimini

Matteo Mussoni, a young D.J. from Rimini, will fire up the square from 10.30pm to midnight.

Then DAN: ROS will take possession of the console and make the square dance.

It will then be the turn of one of the most famous Italian groups in the world. Their electronic rock is permanently on every radio in the world, their successes always ready to be danced: the PLANET FUNK. The band will present an electronic version of the new album and the their hits of the last 15 years, in collaboration with some of the greatest producers of the international scene who remixed the band's most famous songs. The historical founder of the band Alex Neri in the role of DVO (director virtual orchestra), Marco Baroni at the synths & keyboards and the original voice of the band, Dan Black.

The party will continue until the morning with two big names in electronic music:
Daniele Baldelli is one of the first Italian deejays, who has forged a new music and created genres like afro -cosmic.
Richy Montanari returns to his hometown, there is no club in the world that does not play his music and not recognize him as one of the most valid DJs on the electronic scene.
